What’s you favourite holiday destination as a family?

Our favourite holiday destination is usually the last one we went to which was Lanzarote last summer. However we go to Cornwall regularly to stay in a friend’s family house overlooking Polzeath Beach – great for surfing and sand castle building.

What’s your favourite holiday destination as a couple?

We fell in love with the Out Islands of the Bahamas – for their quirky, remote feel such as Harbour Island with its amazing Pink Sand Beach and Eleuthera.

You first family holiday memory?

Flying into St Barts with Scarlett aged 3 months, worrying about damaging her ears on the small aircraft and facing a tropical storm in the air!

All turned out well and it was an incredible island.

What’s your kids favourite holiday?

My son’s standout holiday was St James’s Club in Antigua where we had fabulous kids club sessions with kids’ author and illustrator, Adam Stower. Fin also loved the pools and sea. For Scarlett, it’s being with other children, so she likes holidays with her friends. However she has been to the Cipriani in Venice which stands out in her holiday memory.

What would you take on a desert island?

My family of course so long as we could all survive! Perhaps we could take Ray Mears along!

What’s on your family holiday wishlist?

This year we are visiting Prague, Abu Dhabi and Quebec as well as some fabulous UK hotels – The Pig in the New Forest and Dormy House in the Cotswolds. Our wishlist is an endless mix of family favourite must dos like the theme parks or Florida and totally off beat adventures like Patagonia.
